The new edition of Visual Basic for Education
is based on the .NET framework. Like its
predecessor, Visual Basic .NET for Education
strives to make computer programming both accessible and
interesting to secondary students. The .NET
framework represents a significant upgrade to the previous
versions of Visual Basic, and as such presents many
challenges to educators. This text has been designed
to be easy to use and flexible enough to be used in
virtually any existing course structure.
