More Than Just Marks provides a context for boys' education through critical summaries of a variety of theoretical findings and recent research.  It is designed for teachers and academics, and draws on examples that seem particularly powerful in the teaching of boys, but does not exclude the possibility of their use with girls or mixed groups.

Chapter 11 - Adrian Janson - Using Computer Programming to Enhance Boys' Learning in Information Technology, discusses the evolution of the current IT course at Melbourne High School.  It includes a discussion on the use of game programming to excite and challenge students and some of the research that has been done in this area.
