When you purchase an Electronic Site Licence of one of the text books for which this option is available, you will receive all of the contents of the text (as well as the CD-ROM) in electronic form so that it can be placed on a server within your organisation.  You will then have the permission to use these files freely (within your organisation) - distributing them to your students, printing them to make up your own booklets and accessing them across all the computers in your network.  The Electronic Site Licence is priced to be the same as about a dozen copies of the text book - so it becomes a practical and economical alternative to purchasing a class set of texts.
